A Message from the Chair of Governors

Dear Community,

On behalf of all the Governors, a very warm welcome to the Federation of North Walsham Infant and Junior School.

It is a privilege to be the Chair of the Local Governance Committee at this wonderful school. Our school vision is for the children to embrace the mantra ‘big dreams for our futures’ and we are justifiably proud of the way the children rise to the high expectations staff set. We are fortunate to have skilled and passionate teachers in each of our classrooms, led by our experienced and valued Headteacher and her Senior Leadership team. 

We are a very committed and active Local Governance Committee at NWIJS. We work closely with the school and Trust to ensure that the children receive the best education in a safe and supportive setting. We also enjoy being involved in day-to-day school events. 

Our team of governors come from a range of backgrounds and bring different skills to the role. Members include parents, teaching staff and representatives from the local community.

We look forward to working with you as your child takes their journey through our school.
