  • Supports young carers and explains their rights, including the opportunity for a Young Carer Needs Assessment to review the impact on wellbeing, education, family life, and more

  • Call 0344 800 8020 to request an assessment 

 

Young Carers Matter Norfolk

  • Delivers 1:1 support, mentoring, group sessions, activities, and empowers young carers to influence local services

  • Developed the ‘Young Carers App’, offering advice, wellbeing tips, emergency planning, and support service listings—with a PIF information quality mark youngcarersmatternorfolk.org.

 

Norfolk Young Carers Forum (NYCF)

  • Provides a county-wide peer group enabling young carers to collaborate on events, raise awareness, and influence policy 

  • Co-created the ‘Carer Friendly Tick’ school award and produces resources like emergency planning templates
