The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment Project
The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment came to visit our school many times during the academic year 21/22. We are participating in a 3 year performance and composition project supported by Living Heritage Project, Orchestras Live and the Cultural Consortium in North Walsham called 'Our Town, Our Community'. Many of students worked with a live baroque orchestra to compose and perform a selection of songs influenced by 'Our Town, Our Community'. Local neighbouring schools joined us for a final performance in July 22 and many students joined to the live concert in the local church. We look forward to the second year of the project in 22/23.
The English Touring Opera Visits 21/22
During the academic Year 21/22 The English Touring Opera came twice to perform to all of our pupils. It was magical to hear operatic music filling our school halls and corridors!
